EVAN GLUGETH
Evan Glugeth was 26 years old when he lost his battle with substance abuse on December 15, 2007. As we mourn Evan's loss, his family and friends have sought, in Evan's memory, to benefit others in need through the creation of the Evan Glugeth Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention Foundation.
Evan grew up in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, attending in his primary school years, Solomon Schechter Day School in West Orange, and then Cedar Grove Middle and High Schools. Evan attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida where he earned his MBA and Undergraduate Degrees in Business Finance.

Besides his aspiring career in the business world, Evan loved sports, especially basketball and the New York Knicks. Evan's goal was to combine his love for sports with his business talent and was about to start a position as sales and marketing executive for a college sports apparel company.
Evan loved his family and friends, from New Jersey to Boston to Florida. Evan was a very outgoing person and an all-around "great kid" and though his young adult years had many friends. He brought life and joy to everyone around him. His compassion and love for others is what most should be remembered about Evan. Despite his struggle with substance abuse, Evan taught those around him the true meaning of compassion and it is this trait which will live on through the Foundation's helping of others with similar struggles.
